You might find that if you check the local time on the NexStar hand
control, that it is wrong, but only in hours. The scope gets it's time
from the GPS satellites which are extremely accurate, but the satellites
report Universal Time. It is up to you to tell the scope what time
zone it is located in and whether Daylight Savings Time is in effect. To do this, press the Menu button, scroll down
to Scope Setup, press Enter, scroll to Setup Time-Site, press Enter and
insure the correct time zone and either Standard Time or Daylight Savings
Time.
